2019 Ford Figo, the latest iteration of the American carmaker’s hatchback scheduled which has been launched in India on 15 March, is now on Tinder — a popular dating app. Under the aegis of this association, people who swipe right for the new Ford Figo on Tinder and end up matching with it will stand a chance to win an all-expense paid date night after the car’s launch.
Ford explained that this association with the dating app is reflective of both the company’s as well as its customers’ spirit, i.e. people who live life on their own terms.
Rahul Gautam, vice president, marketing, Ford India, said, “The New Figo is made for those who don’t follow the crowd and are smart to make their own choices. Our association with Tinder not only communicates what Figo stands for but also reach the target audience in most effective, fun and engaging manner.”
The carmaker said that besides the all-expenses paid drive experience with other winners, the date night with the 2019 Ford Figo will also include a chance to feature in a ‘social video’.
