An Interview with Sunil Kamath, chief business officer, ShareChat wherein he talks about how the social media platform has evolved since its inception four years ago. Subsequently, Kamath shared that as the platform has crossed 60 million monthly active users, it now plans to start generating revenue. According to him, brands are now interested to leverage the platform’s user-generated content element to build an experience.

Kamath further shared how the company aims to double its monthly average user base to 120 million users in the next 12 months. He further added how nearly a million pieces of content is posted on the site on a daily basis, across 15 languages. Out of this, 50% of the content, is video-based content.
