YouTube reaches 93% of Indian users, tops daily engagement at 61 minutes

A new Hansa Research AIM Study released ahead of World Social Media Day has found that YouTube is India’s most widely used digital platform, reaching 93% of users who spend an average of 61 minutes on it daily. Instagram follows with 71% reach and 58 minutes of engagement, while WhatsApp and Facebook, despite their broad reach, see lower daily usage times. The report highlights that video-first platforms and OTT services are driving deeper user attention, making time spent a more important metric than reach for brands and marketers.

Meta Launches Embedded Appointment Booking for Lead Ads

Meta has introduced embedded appointment booking for Facebook Lead Ads, allowing users to schedule appointments instantly after submitting a lead form without leaving Facebook. The no-code feature integrates directly with supported scheduling platforms like HighLevel and Calendly, reducing drop-offs and helping businesses convert more leads into confirmed bookings. The rollout begins in phases through 2026, with more scheduling partners expected to join later.

60% of Indian consumers want personal AI agents

An Adobe AI and Digital Trends Report reveals that 60% of Indian consumers want their own personal AI agents, making India the most enthusiastic market for agentic AI in the Asia-Pacific region. The study found that 55% are willing to interact with a brand’s AI agent, while many are also open to AI handling shopping, customer service, and brand interactions on their behalf. However, the report highlights that trust, transparency, and the option to switch to a human remain critical for wider adoption, even as businesses race to integrate AI into customer experiences.

Celebrity ads drop 24% on Connected TV as sports stars dominate digital

A TAM Sports report on IPL 2026 reveals that celebrity-endorsed ads on Connected TV dropped 24% compared to Linear TV, reflecting a shift in advertiser strategy. While film stars continued to dominate traditional TV, sports personalities led celebrity advertising on Connected TV, highlighting how brands are tailoring campaigns to different viewing audiences and platforms.

YouTube started automatic labelling for AI-generated content

YouTube has begun automatically labelling certain AI-generated videos to improve transparency for viewers, but the feature does not apply to all AI-assisted content. Labels are primarily added to videos that depict realistic people, events, or places created or significantly altered using AI, while routine AI use—such as background editing, script assistance, or visual enhancements—may not receive a label. The move is part of YouTube’s broader effort to balance AI innovation with responsible disclosure.

LinkedIn adds collaborative posts

The platform is rolling out a test at Cannes, and said it plans to offer the feature to more users over the next few months.

LinkedIn announced a collaborative posts feature, which will enable creators to invite other LinkedIn members to be co-creators of in-stream posts.

LinkedIn’s collab posts will be accessible via a new Add Collaborators option within post settings, accessible via the composer options. Users will then be able to invite other LinkedIn users or company pages to partner on posts.

As outlined by LinkedIn: “Great ideas love company. Whether at work or in life, some of the best moments of success and creativity come from collaboration. Think of new product launches, executives breaking major business news, creators sharing brand partnerships, or teammates celebrating company milestones. There’s almost always multiple people working behind the scenes to make magic happen.”

TAM and VTION introduce CTV ad measurement

TAM Media Research and VTION launch CTV Ad Pulse, a Connected TV ad measurement tool introduced during IPL 2026, offering unified cross screen reach, frequency and audience insights

TAM Media Research and VTION on Monday announced the launch of CTV Ad Pulse, a new measurement solution aimed at helping advertisers, agencies and media planners track audience delivery of advertising campaigns on Connected TV platforms.

The product was introduced during IPL 2026 and combines TAM’s advertising monitoring capabilities with VTION’s Connected TV audience measurement to offer a consolidated view of ad exposure and viewer engagement on CTV.

As Connected TV viewership and ad spends continue to rise, advertisers are increasingly seeking measurement systems that go beyond ad occurrence tracking. CTV Ad Pulse brings together advertising activity and audience viewing behaviour into a single framework, enabling campaign-level assessment across platforms.

The solution offers insights into the audience profile exposed to ads on Connected TV, campaign reach and frequency at a category and competitive level, viewer segmentation across NCCS and geographies, and campaign delivery across key markets.
