LinkedIn Launches New Analytics Tool To Help Creators Reach New Audiences
LinkedIn is rolling out a new analytics metric designed to answer a question creators have long been asking: Are my posts reaching new audiences, or simply being seen by people already in my network?
The new metric, called Reach, breaks down post performance between people already connected to or following a creator and those discovering their content for the first time. The update will appear in post analytics under the Discovery section and provide a percentage breakdown of in-network versus out-of-network reach.
For a platform increasingly positioning itself as a destination for professional creators, thought leaders and subject matter experts, the change offers a clearer view into how expertise spreads beyond existing connections and whether content is actually helping professionals grow their influence.

If a user skips the advertisement, they are returned to the Reel they were previously watching. Swiping moves them to the next Reel in the feed.

Google Just Launched a Feature That Could Save Struggling Publishers
Google is testing a new feature called Search profiles, a social-media-style listing that lets brands and creators showcase their content directly inside Google Search. For publishers battling falling traffic from AI summaries, the timing is no accident.
The profiles pull together a custom collection of a brand or creator’s content, sourced from their existing accounts on social and video platforms. According to Google, they give publishers and creators a central place to highlight their latest articles, videos, and social posts. People can then follow those sources directly, making them more likely to see that content on Discover, which sits on the home screen of the Google app.
That follow function is the key. Search profiles let creators build a direct connection with searchers, helping them grow their own audiences rather than relying purely on ranking. They also let creators customize how their search listing looks, potentially earning more prominent placement over time.
