Google in talks to launch SME lending on Pay platform
Google will roll out a credit feature for small and medium enterprises on its payment platform Google Pay. The rollout, in partnership with top Indian lenders, will go live by year-end and help over 3 million verified merchants avail instant credit on their Google Pay app, if the bank partners deem them credit worthy.

A list of influential business leaders on Twitter was released by analytics tool company – Followerwonk. Leading the pack was the RPG Group Chairman with 92 points, followed by Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra at 89, Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw at 85, Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma at 78, and Harsh Mariwala at 77.
Indians watch the most online video content per day
The report “How Video is Changing the World”, found that most people are turning to online video for new forms of interactive entertainment during this pandemic. About twothirds (64.3%) of Indian consumers had their first e-sports experience during the pandemic while nearly 69% attended their first virtual concert. About 55% Indians said they had participated in an online fitness class and another 26.8% plan to do so in the next six months.
